Shoes for Babies & Toddlers.

- Footwear should be made from a natural soft, flexible material and generous in cut, so as not to restrict the movement that is essential to the foots growth and development.

- Bare feet are considered best, as it allows tiny feet and toes to exercise, strengthen and grow unconstrained. However, circumstances such as the weather will not always facilitate this.

- Babies and toddler's feet are soft and plump; with little hard bone, just soft cartilage.

- The main function of footwear is to protect the feet from getting cold, hot sand, sharp objects and dirt.

Care:

The "PlatyPaws" shoes can be hand washed and air dried.

If the shoes give off color, rinse them with diluted vinegar. That will keep the color from rubbing off.

They get a little stiff just after wash, but they quickly get soft again after short wear.

Our Soft Star Shoes are hand crafted one at a time. With the finest materials available - soft, pliable cowhide and genuine shearling lamb fleece. The result is a shoe that is soft and flexible, but durable enough to stand up to the worst punishment that any toddler can dish out.
Our shoe styles have soft, pliable leather uppers.

Sizes 1-3 have a soft leather sole.

Sizes 4-6 have a thin crepe sole.

Sizes 7-9 have a medium crepe sole.

Sizes 10-13 have a thick crepe sole.
